Partnership enables address-level coverage prediction and service qualification for ISPs across the United States
CINCINNATI, OH and DALLAS, TX – CostQuest Associates® (CQA) and WISDM today announced a breakthrough commercial agreement to incorporate CostQuest's Fabric data into the WISDM wireless planning and service qualification platform. The partnership marks the first time fixed wireless ISPs will have commercial rights to use Fabric data for business growth within an industry leading fixed wireless network planning platform.
This agreement enables real-time coverage predictions for proposed fixed wireless networks within the WISDM platform, incorporating CostQuest's Fabric BSL data across projected coverage areas. ISPs can identify coverable locations and access the data needed for ROI projections – providing a complete network planning solution. The platform also supports propagation modeling for the complete range of frequency bands used for FWA.
Precision at every address
The combination of precise address data and high-resolution network modeling eliminates much of the guesswork historically associated with FWA planning and sales qualification.
Key benefits of the partnership include:
- Reduced failed truck rolls by more than 90%, compared to industry rates that reach 50% with low-resolution data.
- Installation success rates improved to over 95%.
- Laser-focused marketing and sales qualification, ensuring operators engage only with serviceable addresses.
- Optimized infrastructure investment, identifying the minimum build required to achieve maximum coverage and return on investment.
- BEAD and government program support, helping model exactly where to direct federal broadband funding to eliminate coverage gaps.
Over 14 million Fabric data addresses are now in commercial use by some of America's fastest-growing ISPs, including Geolinks, Rise Broadband, MTE and DC Connect.
David Burns, CEO, WISDM
"Incorporating commercial rights to use Fabric data to grow their businesses in a simple and economic way is a huge deal for our growing WISDM user base. When Fabric data is loaded into WISDM, ISPs can not only see the addresses that are serviceable, but where on a building to mount an antenna. This is a gamechanger for the FWA industry – it helps plan better networks, makes marketing a science and improves installation success to well over 95%."
Mike Wilson, Director of Partnerships, CostQuest Associates
“Together, CostQuest and WISDM are bringing a new level of precision and confidence to fixed wireless operators nationwide – helping ISPs grow smarter, invest their capital more efficiently and play a meaningful role in universal connectivity. This partnership brings our granular CostQuest data to life in an easy-to-use platform giving fixed wireless providers the insights they need to grow their businesses.”
