WISDM V3 - the world’s fastest Next Generation RF planning and FWA toolset which now includes ultra-HD clutter data and complete Fabric Address Data for improved sales and operational efficiency for WISPs.
Wireless Coverage Ltd and WISDM Inc, a leader in advanced FWA propagation, planning and optimization tools, today announced the launch of WISDM V3, a major upgrade to its flagship mapping platform. This new version improves its proprietary GPU accelerated core engine with a host of new features to help FWA ISPs plan networks faster, improve installation rates and win new subscribers.
WISDM V3 focuses on three core areas: speed, accuracy, and rich data. The platform now utilizes the new V3 Core WISDM Engine and latest Global-Twin Elevation Map which has 100% of USA mapped in incredible detail. WISDM has also partnered with Cost Quest Associates to license its Fabric Data that is the official set of Broadband Serviceable Locations (BSL) so that WISDM users can incorporate this data into WISDM for marketing, lead capture and planning.
Key new features in WISDM V3. include:
- Lead Capture System: In addition to the existing APIs that allow users to add lead qualification on their website, WISDM now has an easy-to-use customer-branded iframe that they can drop onto their website. This no-code approach allows operators with limited development skills to incorporate WISDM’s super-accurate service availability checks in their site and match their colors and fonts. End users get a great map-based address selector, and the operator receives precisely qualified sales leads.
- New Network Planner: Users can upload a list of candidate tower sites, and add target address coverage, uptake percentage and busy-hour network load and WISDM will show which towers are commercially viable, together with the list of serviceable addresses for marketing.
- New Multi-Vendor, Multi-Band test parameters: WISDM now allows a simplified way to check which addresses are serviceable in a single pass – even with wildly different frequencies and hardware vendors. For example, from one step, WISDM users can check for 60 GHz Tachyon connectivity at two different mount heights, as well as long range Tarana G2 for longer range installations.
Advances in FWA systems, together with availability of more spectrum have not been matched by advances in mapping data and technology. Today WISDM turns this on its head by bringing together a propagation engine that performs tens of billions of precision line of sight tests per second, with a complete 1 meter resolution map of the US.
Today, WISPs using WISDM V3 can have the certainty of deploying infrastructure where it will get the best coverage, precisely market to the right customers, and accelerate installation times.
Our customers in the US have won substantial BEAD projects and now they can sell and install with confidence due to WISDM’s accuracy and performance
- David Burns, CEO of Wireless Coverage and WISDM.
WISDM V3 is being rolled out starting from 14 October for all existing subscribers in the USA, Europe and Australasia.
